The Hunt for ClarenceAnd, without warning, Clarence is gone spirit-side, as that John Edward rip-off Colin Fry would say. I knew him, not as closely as some, I'll admit, but still, I knew him. He was a kind-hearted giraffe, happily taking the batterings of constant throwing, being dragged along by one foot, having food thrown all over him, and countless other things. He knew that these were all signs of Alice's love (she shows affection in such odd ways - her favourite way of telling me she likes me is to wipe her food onto my arm - huzzah).

Lara, Alice and Clarence at Alice's first birthday party, about to open our gigantic present - back in good times Clarence and his friend - no, wait, it's Alice's first outing to the zoo (she spent more time looking at Clarence than at these real giraffes)
And so, the hunt is on. Do you know of any of Clarence's brothers or sisters? Perhaps you know of a Clanence who's looking for someone like Alice to spend hours being dragged through the dirt with. The closest the hunt has come so far is Jud's find of a mini Clarence, but in the tradition of replacing a deceased rabbit with a new one that looks the same, we don't think Alice will fall for a new Clarence that's half the height of the old one. So keep an eye out, because having an entire family forever in your debt could come in awfully handy. If you get your hands on Clarence II, let Paul know.

By the way, sorry to hear about your house, Kelly. Hope you and the kiddies are doing well.

Thanks Nic.
Kelly is doing OK. Her comunity has been really great she has a house for as long as it takes her to find a new place and people have been very kind bringing things like clothes, bathroom suplies and toys for the boys. Thankfully the boys did just as they were taught at school and went straight out side and waited out the front.
She also still has a lot of her irriplaceable photos as they were in a box in the least effected room we had to throw out a few which were too damaged but the boys baby albums were OK.
Thanks again for your suport.
